PROJECT OVERVIEW
As graphic designers we aim to visually communicate information in an effective manner. We use words and images to construct and deliver messages to general and targeted communities of people. With the right strategy this makes the outcome more impactful and engaging than the information alone.
‘Tools of Design’ is an introduction to the fundamental building blocks of graphic design.
A whisper from our ancestors and the land we come from, folktales are fascinating. In a standardised, sanatized, templatized global world, our culture, where we come from and our stories, shape our identity. Folktales are fictional stories of the people, passed down over generations, often orally. Meant mostly for entertainment, but with some learning or morals, their characters include common people, animals and magical creatures.
